Mar 22, 2015 After renaming bfh.exe Origin does not recognize Hardline as installed.Yes. But when you click download he only will download the missing files and the bfh.exe again. Can confirm that this downloads the english files and you can select the audio ingame. But it still does not change the ON SCREEN language. The subreddit for Battlefield: Hardline. My Aunt living in Russia wants to buy me Battlefield 1 but I am worried that the only language available will be Russian like it was in Battlefield 4. Is anyone able to tell me if this will be the same case with Battlefield 1 or will the version purchased in Russia also be installed in English?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Don't know. If its only in Russian then you have to buy in an English speaking nation. They could add the option to change languages from Russian to English. Also about the BF1 being the same as BF4, I do now know. -

I belive it is clear how to change the Battelog language... Try to google it, Google knows almost all ;)

3 postsMember, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Battlefield, Battlefield 1Member@||Chany||: If this was true then I would not be asking this simple question :) Many people who live in Russia and Poland but speak English as their first language have this problem and they are not able to platy the game in any other language than Russian or Polish.

14 postsMember, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, Battlefield, Battlefield 1, CTE, BF1IncursionsAlpha, Battlefield VMemberMy Game Version is German, since i live in Germany. I am able to change my language to English via the Windows Registry. The game came for me with the English language pack.
There is a language pack for Polish and Russian guys to play this game in English, as i told you, ask Google:
Install the language pack and change the WIN registry. May you have also to change the Origin language to english.
This Video is not from me, i just searched for you guys

If you read comments on the video you linked you would notice that it doesn't work anymore, and you would need to change it after every update anyway..

4 postsMember, Battlefield 4, Battlefield, Battlefield 1Memberdo you guys think this will be possible (changing the language through the registry) in Battlefield 1? Because right now im stuck with the Russian/ Polish and EA does not want to change it no matter what I tell them.

The answer to that is simple spend the extra few euros/Dollars/Pounds and buy the European Version.
If the post is actually true and we should believe you have a Russian Aunt and she is an actual real person who wants to buy you BF1 then it would be far easier (If of course you can not get a hard copy on the 21st) for her to send you x amount of money through something like Paypal for you to purchase the game through origin or to withdraw it and buy a hard copy if you have found one.
As I highly believe that your 'aunt' is in fact <Random Cheap CD key website> you are asking this because you choose to not pay origin's price and want a cheaper costing game. -

Yo! So, AFAIK if you buy the game in Poland or Russia you will end up with the PLRU version, which only contains these two languages (with the slight exception that if you run it in Polish you will also be able to set the audio language to English but not the on screen one). The thing to notice here is that when you buy this version your origin account will have entitlement to these two languages and only these, so downloading language data from another version (grey market) manually and/or tweaking the registry will not work.
Your best bet is to go through one of the partner stores and getting a physical copy sent to your place (at least according to this thread), or through a third party retailer.
Hope that helps. -
3 postsMember, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Battlefield, Battlefield 1Member@mutekimaigo Thank you for the reply, this was what I suspected and I did buy the game from a region with English.

I'm living in Belarus and bought a physical copy here, its also in Russian/Polish, they've got a lock in place. Kinda bummer if you like to play in the original language since most of the time the translated copy just sucks, you've got 2 or 3 people voicing over all of the actors in the game compared to what 100s of voice actors in the actual game. It is much cheaper here nevertheless, well, not much cheaper, but about 20% cheaper, bought the Ultimate edition for about 100 USD instead of 120. Considering that you are paying 100 USD for about 5 hours worth of single player game and the rest is mostly multiplayer its a ****loads. But then again this is the economic model we are living in these days. The fact that I can't out of the box change the language, download extra language pack kinda bums me out, this isn't a VHS tape which can't be changed. But be assured that sooner or later there will be a similar fix as we had with BF4 where you can download the language pack, after all this is just 1s and 0s and anything can be manipulated just have patience. Its still kinda pathetic from EA's side (and I know its not even DICE that makes these decisions) to try and limit game purchases this way. -
2 postsMember, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Battlefield, Battlefield 1, CTE, Battlefield VMemberOrigin store also gives **** rupl versions of any games, just like uplay. But cjs cdkeys comes to rescue! Previously GMG was helpful, but they started selling region locked versions too. A bummer, I was happy to pay full price and get unrestricted access, but they won't sell global keys to Russia anymore.
